Launched in 1992, the EU Ecolabel logo has become a byword for quality while meeting the highest environmental standards. It means products (goods and services) displaying the iconic "EU flower" symbol meet all the criteria and have earned the right to join the growing EU Ecolabel Community!

Citizens’ awareness and trust in the EU Ecolabel are increasing. 38% of EU citizens recognize the EU Ecolabel. 73% say the impact of the product on the environment is ‘very important’ or ‘rather important’ when making a purchasing decision. 60% report that they have bought products specifically because of their lower environmental impact and 38% report that they often or sometimes buy products with the EU Ecolabel.
