The Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia is a representative body of the citizens and the legislative power of the Republic is vested in it. The Assembly adopts the laws on sessions, and the majority necessary for the adoption is stipulated with the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia.

This update to the previous version of the guide to legal research in North Macedonia seeks to promote and support legal research on the legal system of the Republic of North Macedonia. It concentrates on the constitutional legal framework based on the English translation of the constitution provided by the website of the National Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, and English translations of other laws, such as the law on the judicial council and the law on the courts.
