Statistics can help to make the complex processes of the energy we use more understandable and can help us to answer questions such as: Where does our energy come from? How dependent are we on energy imports? What kind of energy do we consume in the EU?

The European Environment Agency provides sound, independent information on the environment for those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public.
