- Research Institute Economics of Inequality
The institute Economics of Inequality is a multidisciplinary research institute at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where professors of the Department of Economics and the Department of Socio-economics research and analyze a wide variety of questions concerning economic, ecological and social inequality with a small team of young but highly qualified researchers. The main objective of the institute is to analyze inequality in its different forms within society; their research is aimed at empirical analysis. Questions concerning inequality not only have an influence on public spending and financial resources, but on economic and societal development as a whole.
