- OECD: Skills for jobs
This database is an analytical tool designed for policymakers, practitioners and the general public to understand where gaps are emerging between skill supply and demand, by providing country-level information for a wide range of skill categories, including cognitive, social and physical skills. Since its first release in 2017, the database has expanded its country coverage significantly.
- OECD iLibrary: Employment
The OECD’s work on employment provides guidance to strengthen the labour market by examining how public policies can support job creation. From employment and training to economic and social policy and employment protection legislation, its data, papers and publications contribute to better job outcomes especially for vulnerable groups suffering from the COVID-19 crisis.
- OECD skills studies
The OECD Skills Studies series aims to provide a strategic approach to skills policies. It presents OECD internationally comparable indicators and policy analysis covering issues such as: quality of education and curricula; transitions from school to work; vocational education and training (VET); employment and unemployment; innovative workplace learning; entrepreneurship; brain drain and migrants; and skills matching with job requirements.

Providing youth the best opportunity to transition to a decent job calls for investing in education and training of the highest possible quality, providing youth with skills that match labour market demands, giving them access to social protection and basic services regardless of their contract type, as well as leveling the playing field so that all aspiring youth can attain productive employment regardless of their gender, income level or socio-economic background.
